Welcome to the Segagaga Domain VM data Archive !! Here you'll find what we hope to be the biggest Dreamcast Visual Memory Unit save data archive on the English language net. You'll find saves for all of your favorite Dreamcast games as well as some pretty rare saves and let's not forget all of those Japanese Adventure dating Sims. We'd like to thank everyone who's saves appear here in the archive. Without those people this archive would be half the size it is. There are a variety of save data formats presented here. VMI files can be downloaded Via a Dreamcast directly to the Dreamcast's VMU memory card. VMS files can be downloaded via a PC which can then be sent to the Dreamcast's mail server for saving to the VMU. Finally there are the 2 NEXUS 4x Memory card formats which are DCI and DCM. These files must be downloaded via a PC then uploaded to the NEXUS 4x memory card via the linking cable (NEXUS owners will know what this is all about) Sadly, I don't have the time to make every save here available in all formats but don't worry. The below tools for use with Windows operating systems will allow you to convert the files to what ever format suits you best. DCI-VMI ver.1.6 - This utility allows you to create .DCI files that can be uploaded to the NEXUS 4x Memory card. This utility also allows you to create .VMI files that are needed to download .VMS files directly to the Dreamcast Visual Memory Unit. DCI2VMS ver.1.3 - This little utility converts .DCI files which are used for the NEXUS 4x Memory Card in to standard Dreamcast .VMS files. |
