This was the game that launched the Saturn's link cable, Oh NO !! It's bloody awful. It's no surprise that the cable was never met with great interest when this was the flagship game for it. Of course later games did appear such as Virtual On, Doom, Daytona (I believe) and a few others. So, what's so bad about this game then? Well, for a start it's a blatant Virtual On rip off without any of the style or big polygon mechs come to think of it. The game is just dull. Graphics are poor, audio is standard at best and the controls are fiddly. Best to leave this well alone. By the way, there is a version of this game that comes packed with the cable which comes in a large card box.
