The first Vampire Hunter game to hit the Saturn and one of the games that showed that the Saturn had what the PlayStation didn’t have in the 2D department. The PlayStation version of this game originally programmed by the British Liverpool based Psygnosis was pathetically bad. I’m not too sure if it was ever released or not. I know that Acclaims piss poor X-MEN conversion was released which was another reason for Saturn owners to laugh in the face of PlayStation owners (They’ve got to take every chance they get since they don’t have that many). Anyway, almost 10 years later Vampire Hunter still looks quite nice. It’s probably a little slow or basic compared to today’s games but still it can hold its head up high when compared to games of it’s generation. If you don’t own Vampire Savior and you’re interested in trying out the Vampire series of games then it could well be worth your while to pick this one up. It can be had for as little as 150 yen !! So don’t go paying high amounts for it.
