This game just like the first is a futuristic city based adventure with our heroine, Sylvie working with the GPO to keep law and order. The game is well presented with nice crisp CG backdrops as well as clean looking characters. Sound is also pretty good with atmospheric BGM and character voices all provided by well known voice actors/actresses within the anime/game voice over industry.

On the first disc you'll find a bonus preview movie of the Melty Lancer movie. Not only that but also get a bonus audio CD featuring radio plays and music. Its very well made to the standards you'd expect from a purchased CD and also quite long, lasting well over an hour.

Unfortunately the Melty Lancer series is unplayable to those without knowledge of the Japanese language which is a great shame since the games actually have pretty good story lines. Saying that, for some reason the Melty Lancer series reminds me of the classic 90's anime Silent Mobius, so if you've ever seen that you may want to give Melty Lancer a try even if you can't understand the story.
