So V-Force comes in this lovely
big box but whatfs included? Well, therefs an
anime video which runs for about 20 minutes, the game of course and a
jigsaw puzzle. The anime on the video is actually quite poor quality.
You know the type. The type with pretty low frames of animation and many
stills that just scroll. The jigsaw is wellc. A jigsaw of he main
box art work. The gamefs case looks pretty
cheap with no front or back inlay cards. Just 3 discs and the
instruction book inside a fully clear double
CD case . Probably the best thing about the package is that it looks
good from the outside but thatfs about it.
So how is the game? Well itfs packed full of True Motion FMV (60 minutes
of it !) While the picture quality is nice the actual animation quality
is poor. Quovadis 2 which I also added to the site today has much better
animation cut scenes that resemble a movie. The quality of he FMV isnft
as good as V-Force because it uses Cinipack instead of True Motion but
still manages to be far more impressive. So things arenft looking too
good for V-Force. How are the actual game graphics? Well, these
also could have been a lot better. So now on
to the game. Hmm, so far I havenft been impressed at
all and Ifve been playing it for 3 hours. I have to say that
V-Force is a pretty low quality title as far as battle simulations go.
Throw away all the fancy FMV and extra packing at what you have is a
pretty poor game. By no means is it the worst, you could waste you money
on far greater crap but as it stands youfre much better off getting
Quvadis 2 if youfre after a battle simulation.
