I know what your thinking right now. "How can a music sequencer work on a Saturn?" Very well I must say. Techno Motor is actually a far better piece of software than O.TO.I.RE. on the Dreamcast. True that Techno Motor doesn't have the ability to connect a midi device to the Saturn or the ability to upload songs to a server but it does have far more to it than O.TO.I.RE. The whole appearance of Techno Motor is one of shear class. The menus are easy to navigate and in English too !! Which is a great bonus for the none Japanese speaker. The actual write a song page is very similar to the likes of Cake Walk used for the PC. Very professional looking. The rhythm setting screens are also easy to understand as are the sound pages where you denote a specific sound to each button of the Saturn's pad or two different pads if you're up for a jamming session.

If you are one of these people who just don't have the time to arrange your own backing track or just want a quick session then that's not a problem with Techno Motor. There are many different pre-programmed tunes and backings from all types of music. There is a total of 800 instruments/voices and 2500 drum combinations which could amount to 11'716 different arrangements. Let's not forget BPM settings, Transpose and a whole host of other goodies.

For anyone that's truly in to music I seriously recommend that you buy this title if you can find it. It wasn't easy to find when it was new so I can see it being a right bitch to get hold of now. Once you do get this title you'll never look at your Saturn's pad in the same way again. It makes a wonderful musical instrument
