R?MJ is one of those FMV adventure games like
D, Torico or Mansion Of Hidden Souls. Those games are all concidered to
be prety poor although I do like D. So is R?MJ poor or not? Is it worth
buying?
Well, the idea for the game is nothing new. Some people trapped in a
virus infected hospital with no way out. I played this for 2 hours today
and can honestly say that R?MJ is dull. There's hardly any music and the
sound effects do nothing to enhance the atmosphere. The CG animation is
poor even for 1997 when it was made. R?MJ also lacks in visual impact.
OK there isn't much you can do to make a hospital look visually
entertaining but at least Bandai could have done better than what they
did. They also could have added more to do or at least made the links
between action parts less dull. They also could have removed half of the
annoying speech that repeats almost every time you move.
At first R?MJ looked promising but quickly managed to bore me to tears.
