Oh no, this game is SHIT ! I'm sorry but it is. I should be more professional but I just have to get it out of my system. Konami should be ashamed of them selves with this Saturn conversion. The game looks so poor that it makes House Of The Dead's textures look good. The textures are awful with some of them just being a load of different coloured blocks. The polygon models are also very ropy and even the 2D scaling sprites are some of the blockiest I've ever seen. And to add insult to injury, Konami used arcade screen shots for all the pictures on the Saturn's case and instruction book. So they knew that their Saturn conversion looked like shit. Now I could forgive all this piss poor graphical shambles and misleading screen shots on the case and instruction book if the game was any good. Well, is it? Let's see.

Henry Explorers uses the Saturn's light gun or mouse as well as the standard pad for control. These seem to all work pretty well with the gun being the best option followed by the mouse. The problem with the game is that things just pop up out of nowhere to attack you and sometimes you don't even get a chance to hit some of the enemies. The end of level bosses are as tough as hell thanks to the shoddy graphics making it difficult to see where you are meant to hit them. Another annoying point is the face that pops up after every section of the game. He's so annoying and repeats what he has to say after completing two stages. Oh yes, the stages. There are 6 to choose from but don't let that trick you in to thinking that there will be 6 completely different stages. Oh no ! The first part of the stage will be different but after that you'll end up playing an area that you'd already completed before. Only this time you must choose the path that you never chose the first time round.

Overall Henry Explorers is boring, ugly and a really shoddy attempt to rip off Saturn owners.  You'll be hard pressed to play it until you run out of continues.
