Winter Heat is the official follow up to the amazing Decathlete and is just as good if not better than the original. Just like Decathlete was Sega's sports title to combat Konami's tack & field title and much better. Winter Heat was Sega's answer to Konami's officially sponsored winter Olympics game and again it was better (^v^). The Saturn version of Winter Heat is a perfect port from the arcade STV board version since it's basically a Saturn in an arcade anyway. Winter Heat's animation is second to none with it's big sized characters and well laid out playing areas and not to mention the great playability. There are eleven sports to participate in, Speed Skiing, Ski Jumping, Downhill, Short Track S.S., Skeleton, Slalom, Aerial Skiing, Bobsleigh (My favorite), Speed Skating, Snow Boarding and Cross Country Skiing. You'd be a fool to miss out on this one as well as Decathlete.
