Rayman really took me by surprise.  I had seen it many years ago on the PlayStation and had even played it but something was missing I though.  Then the other week I spotted this Japanese version for the Saturn for sale at a cheap price.  "What the heck" I thought and bought it.  After getting home I had what I thought would be a quick go to see how it was.  I ended up playing for a whole hour !!  Rayman is indeed a great platformer filled with the odd puzzle here and there.  The graphics are so colourful with beautiful animation and there's even the odd nice graphical effect every time you complete a level.  The sound is also quite nice with it's ambient sounds played instead of music at times.  I'd seriously recommend Rayman to anyone after a challenging platformer for their Saturn.
