Taito's train driving simulation comes to the Saturn courtesies of Takara along with the train controller, too. Strangely, Taito did actually program this game and in the past have published their own work on the Saturn.  So why give this to Takara to publish?  Where they embarrassed?  Hmm, well the visuals look ok in stills but when they move it's another story. The textures are so blocky and wobbly that they take away any realism that was there. Luckily the game still plays quite well just like the PlayStation version of the time. Taito were kind enough to add a few extra features to the Saturn version such as 4 different lines to ride on, many trains to choose from plus 5 movies to unlock and watch. In the end the Saturn version of Densha De Go isn't that bad and is quite rare these days. It's worth checking out if you can find it cheap enough or if you're a real train nut.
