King The Spirits 2 is a great improvement over the original game also by Atlus and a hell of a lot better than it's rival Kashira Moji D or better known as Initial D in the west. King The Spirits 2 offers you four modes of play as well as having three courses to choose from plus a selection of four different weather types and three different times of day to race at !! The game also offers simultaneous 2 player gaming set as either horizontal split screen or vertical split screen. There's even a replay option which is very nice and also allows you to choose the camera angles. So we have loads of play options and more track customizing than you could ever want but what about the cars? Well, Touge King The Spirit 2 doesn't have official car licenses but it does have real Japanese cars with names such as TYPE 1 and so on. This isn't a problem though since you can change the name of the car to it's real name as well as it's colour and practically every other setting on the car. OK, so how does Touge King The Spirits 2 play? Well at first it isn't easy but after a bit of practice in the training mode you'll soon get the hang of it in no time at all. While Touge King the Spirit 2 isn't the best racer in the world it sure does offer some great racing action.

So, now we've played the game to death what else is there to do? Well, you could switch off the Saturn and put the game away but not this time. Now it's time to check out the real Japanese car magazine articles and the pages of photo contest entries. But of course we know that most of us will be looking at the women and not the cars (^v^)

So is Touge King The Spirits 2 worth getting? Well, if you like a challenge and want a racing game that will last then, yes this is for you.
