This sample seems to be the same early code that was actually released in the US as the final game.  There are lots of details missing on the track side as well as the Celica's handling being off.  As far as presentation goes, it's 100% the same as the US version of the game.  Complete with all the options as well.  It's not until you come to play the game do you realize that you can only choose the Championship mode and then only race on the desert course.  Once your race in over the camera will either just keep panning around your car or you'll get the Game Over screen.  It seems to be random to which ending you'll get.
