@ Ah, this is what I like to see. A sample disc that's in early development. Straight away you can notice this is different from the retail game once the intro starts. In the retail game the characters are shown battling each other while in this game they just stand there doing a pose animation as the camera pans by. There are also quite a few differences in character design as well as level designs. One thing that does stand out though are the terrible graphical glitches present in this sample. In the retail game only the high school girl character causes the game to freak out when you have two on screen at once. In this sample though, everyone can cause the game to freak out with missing or flickering polygons everywhere. Modes of play include the standard Player vs. CPU with only a hand full of selectable characters, 2 player mode and a watch mode. The watch mode is quite interesting since here you can watch the CPU battle it out against it's self. All characters are in the game to watch including the 3 hidden programmer characters. I find this odd since you have to unlock these characters in the final game before you can see them. @ @ |
