disc. This Sample disc of Side Pocket 3 is identical in contents to the
retail release. It's just that extra bit cool because of the different
catalogue number and the SAMPLE print.
Side Pocket 3 is a 3D billiards or as we say in the UK, pool game. Modes
include the ever popular trick shot section now with the ability to make
your very own trick shots. Story mode is almost like a mini RPG set in a
3D pre-rendered hotel. The actual characters are real time polygon
generated though. The actual pool playing section of the game has many
different varieties such as 8 ball, Texas rule and so on. Playing
areas could have done with a bit more attention but over all it's not
that bad. Ball physics seem to be quite decent for the most part as do
the camera angles. There is an option to view the table from above in a
2D style view which is pretty much like what is used in Side Pocket 2.
Over all I'd say Side Pocket 3 is quite a nice pool game that worth
buying for those sit back and relax gaming sessions. |
