Lupin the 3rd was one of the last selection of Saturn games made in 1998 before the Japanese Launch of the Dreamcast in November 1998. So it makes you wonder why Lupin the 3rd looks like a first generation 3D Saturn game. Well, it's not that bad but I'd expect something a bit better from such a late title. Anyway, Lupin the 3rd is best described as a water downed version of Tomb Raider. Your task is to guide Lupin around the mazes of the pyramid finding all the hidden treasure while smacking around a few of the enemies and solving puzzles. The camera system used in Lupin the 3rd is bloody awful since it hardly moves at all. Basically you must use the shoulder buttons on the pad to spin the camera around. Now while this may sound better than a camera that goes where it pleases it's not so great during combat when an enemy moves behind you. Instead of dealing with the battle you're left fiddling around with the camera to see where the enemy has gone. All in all this isn't such a great game game but then again it's also not the worst of it's type..
