  I'm a great follower of Technosoft with their amazing shooters and Mega Drive conversion of Devil Crash, so I picked up this title today knowing quite well that it's a bit of a dud. So what type of game is Hyper Reverthion? Well, it's best to describe it as a sort of Virtual On clone featuring giant mutant robotic insects instead of robots. The main problem with Hyper Reverthion is that there's not much gameplay in there. The game isn't a total load of crap but the sequel, Steeldom is far better featuring higher resolution textures, improved play mechanics and more options. Hyper Reverthion isn't a total waste of time and I'm sure you can find some enjoyment in the game with it's fair level of challenge and not to forget those great Technosoft tunes !!
