Type - FMV Adventure

It seems that almost if not all the Neon Genesis games are below par.  This Saturn game by Sega is one of them.  The presentation to the game is nice and so on but the game it's self is a but of a duffer.  It plays sort of like an interactive movie.  You are shown parts of the anime in which you have to control what happens by pushing a direction on the D-pad.  This doesn't really seem to work in my view.  The whole process of fighting is just far too much trouble.  Fans of Evangelion will like this game simply because it's Evangelion but I doubt anyone else will.
