Many of
the Tokuma Shoten label games are quite expensive including this one.
Zoku Hatsukoi Monogatari can easily set you back around 4000 to 5000 yen
(2008 / 2009 price) which is quite high when you consider many other
simulation titles cost half that.
So what makes this title so special? Well apart from it's beautiful
packing the game comes on 4 discs. The first 3 tell us the story of 3
people in your life set at different periods in time. The first disc is
set in Shougako (Elementary School) up to the age of 12 if anyone is
wondering. Disc 2 tells the story around your Chuugako (Junior School)
life with the 3rd disc being based upon Koukousei (Senior School). The
final 4th disc includes the closing part of this epic story based upon
your Daigako (University) life plus bonuses from the 4 stories. These
bonuses can only be accessed with save data from each of the stories
though. So there's no chance of seeing them without actually playing the
game.
If you can understand Japanese then this is defiantly a very good "game"
to get in to if you have the time. Fully voice driven as well.
Unfortunately for those who can't, it's a complete waste of money unless
you're a collector.
Coming with the game is this lovely special card.
