It looks as if Bandai wanted to milk more money from their Ultraman license. As we all know there is no such thing as a good Ultraman game. They're all bloody awful or are they? Well, thanks to Sims Co. Bandai now have a decent but to be honest, basic puzzle game. The idea is to connect the coloured blobs to other coloured blobs of the same colour. I'm sure I've seen that before. Anyway, as well as having to remove lines from the puzzle tower you also need to attack the opponent. This is done by scoring combinations which will trigger your character to perform a special attack. Again, I'm sure I've seen that before.

PD Ultraman Link is by no means the most innovative puzzler out there nor is it the worst. Saying that, it's probably best left for fans of guys wearing plastic helmets and jump suits from the local disco store.

Oh, you may be wondering what PD stands for in this games title. According to Bandai it means "Polygon Dimension". Or in other words it means cheap arse pre-rendered sprites.
