You just know a game is going to
be crap when it's described as Edutainment. Yes, that god awful attempt
to blend education with entertainment. One reason why I hate the 90's.
Far too many dumb concepts such as edutainment were born back then.
Anyway, I'm happy to say that this game is actually far better than the
last Life Scape outing. In this sequel you are shrunk down to nano size
then placed inside a nano sized ectosuit within you travel around the
inside of a body. Now, I'm sure you've all heard that story before.
The actual game element is probably best described as a shooter. Your
mission is to destroy bacteria by blasting it to bits with your on-board
weapons as you fly down the passages to various parts of the body . For
about 5 minutes this is pretty entertaining until you figure out there's
actually no point to all of this. So off to the next area you go and
repeat the same process.
Over all this isn't what I'd call a good game even if it is better than
the last Life Scape title. Still, the 3D areas are pretty good and you
do actually learn some decent information about the human body, if you
can speak Japanese that is.
