Hansha De Spark is one of the many hidden gems on the Saturn that you just don't hear about. Even I had no idea about this game until I found it in a back street junk shop. Hansha De Spark is best described as an action puzzle game. The idea is to rebound your spinning top off boards in to the many bad guys dotted around the area. These boards are placed around the maze like area and can be altered to various angles so careful planning is needed at times so that you don't send the spinning top back in your direction. Because if that happens you'll be caught in it and smashed against the nearest wall or bad guy.

Sounds simple doesn't it? Well, yes it is however not only are there bad guys for you to take out but also many power ups to collect and obstacles to smash down such as walls or hedges. After completing a few levels you come to the area boss who is always massive!! These can be quite a challenge at times resulting a bit of frustration however with some careful planning they aren't that hard to take out.

Now to one of the most surprising points about this game. Coming from a no name company, you wouldn't expect much in the graphics department. This is where we are all surprised because you see, Hansha De Spark runs in the Saturn's 720×575 high resolution mode giving us some very nice visuals. It makes you wonder why those fish tank simulations run in such a low resolution doesn't it.

A lovely little game that's well worthy of any action puzzle game fan's attention.
