What starts off looking like a war simulation soon turns in to what looks like another one of those pre-rendered adventure games where you can only push forward, left, right or back to progress though the area. However Takuramakan is neither of these. It is in fact a puzzle adventure game. Make you way though the underground temples learning about the history of Buddhism while solving puzzles along the way. Takuramakan is quite a nice game and pretty well presented but unless you speak Japanese you aren't going to have a single clue what's going on due to the puzzles being quite complicated in certain areas.
