Welcome to the world of Japanese home brew gaming! Or at least you'd think that if you had downloaded this title (which you shouldn't be doing, tut tut). Ecole are famous for making shit games. The very first time I played Death Crimson I honestly thought that it was a home brew game. I just couldn't believe that it was an official release. The same thing can be said about Papara Paoon. The way this game looks, sounds and even plays just screams CHEAP !! Surprisingly though the cover is quite intriguing in a strange sort of way. The game is basically a stripped down horizontal version of Columns. You take the role of Anri (odd name I know) who has been given the task to beat the evil elephant Pappara. A very basic game that's fun for a while. Not worth getting if you are buying it for a good solid action puzzle session mind you. |
