Modoh Monogatari is the RPG that every Japanese Saturn owner wants hence the pretty expensive price tag that goes along with it. Thankfully this price is justified with one of the best RPG's on the Saturn. Arel of Puyo Puyo fame along with the rest of the Puyo Puyo cast are now staring in their very own RPG.

Everything about this game just oozes quality, from the graphics to the soundtrack. The story is also quite amusing in places which really helps set the mood of the comical scenes. The main city map areas of the game are displayed in an isometric view point which can make the controls seem a little odd at first but you soon become accustom to them in no time. All mission areas are your typical overhead affair as used in 100's of Japanese RPGs while the battles are again the typical side turn based style.

A lovely RPG that any true RPG fan should try out however remember that it's only available in Japanese.
