The first baseball game for the Saturn and the basis for every other Sega made baseball game for the Saturn afterwards. Yep, pretty much every Saturn baseball game by Sega is based upon the Greatest Nine engine. This original game didn't use polygon characters like later games did which gives players a sort of blocky, poorly animated look although for the time it wasn't that bad. The stadium graphics on the other hand are pretty good.

Both Japanese leagues are featured in this game, Central and Pacific as well as a choice of 4 different stadiums. As you'd expect there are loads of stats to look thorough as well as plenty of options such as wind on or off or errors, what ever that may be.

A pretty good first baseball title for the Saturn but not really worth bothering with these days with since every other Greatest Nine game improves on it in every way possible.

Comes on a lovely colour printed disc.
