Possibly one of the last good action games to be released on the Saturn.  Capcom Japan brought us both of their wonderful Dungeons & Dragons games in all their Arcade glory in one fantastic set. The first game, Tower of Doom does look dated these days but still manages to play a nice game. Unfortunately the audio is quite muffled which does distract from the enjoyment a little. Still, with 4 characters to choose from, shops to visit and loads of nasty trolls and so on to beat the crap out off, I'm sure you'll still have fun.

The second game in the set is Shadow Over Mystaria which is much better looking than Tower of Doom plus has a load more in it. A word of warning must go out to those with PAL or US machines. This 2nd disc needs the Saturn 4MBIT RAM Cartridge to run but as far as I know a box set with the cartridge was never produced so you must own one of the other 4MBIT RAM cartridge games to obtain the cartridge. There is a problem though with Shadow Over Mystaria however. While it plays really well and looks and sounds great it does have some very nasty and at times annoying loading. Why it loads so much I don't know. Looks like Capcom couldn't be bothered to optimize the code since the game was being released so late in the Saturn's life. Shame really because if they did then Shadow Over Mystaria would have been an absolute must buy but as it is I'd say it's still a very nice game that has some nasty loading.
