Well, it’s a nice idea I guess since we already have horse racing simulations and so on, so why not have a boat racing simulation? I tell you why. Because it’s just as dull as a horse racing game. Why oh why do Japanese love to watch such things? Then again why oh why do British people like football manager simulations? All crap to me. Still someone out there likes this stuff otherwise they wouldn’t make it.

Graphically this looks ok until it moves. There’s some very nasty polygon popup and disappearing then re-appearing problems which just shouldn’t be there. Nichibutsu have tried to hide this by using odd camera angles during the normal game but play the time trial mode and you can see these problems since you have control of the camera. Not a bad game (if you could call it that) if racing a small power board in a circle is your idea of fun but if it isn’t you’ll be very disappointed with this.
