Quite a strange and unknown 2D fighter from a company by the name of Aorn. This Saturn version is apparently a perfect conversion of the arcade machine which I must confess to have never seen. If you've seen Jojo on the Dreamcast or arcade you may understand this game a little more than those who haven't. Each character has a "spirit" that helps with the battle by throwing out projectiles or what ever. To be honest though, they seem to get in the way more than anything. A total of 8 characters to choose from at first all of which are copies of other characters seen in other games to be honest but that 's not really a problem. What is a problem in this game are the actual graphics. You see, this title zooms in and out like quite a few of the earlier SNK Neo Geo fighters did. The problem is that when the screen zooms in the character graphics look blocky which makes the game look like shit. This is a real shame because this could have been quite a nice little odd fighter but as it stands it's nothing special thanks to the ugly graphics, lowish animation and unimaginative characters. |
