This game has got all the right ingredients to make it a quality comical shooter such as a nice anime license, colourful graphics, some nice sprite effects, crazy fun characters and a plot already made for you. So what went wrong? Well, Banpresto, that's what.  I've yet to come across a Banpresto game that could be called an A quality title. Bokan to Ippatsu is just plain dull to play. For example when attacking a boss character I couldn't really notice if I was harming it or not since there was no real indication of damage in visual form or sound. The levels are dull and confusing as well. Nothing seems to fit in to place with this game. Everything just seems to be one long conveyer belt scrolling past you.

OK, I make this sound like a totally bad game but to be fair it's nowhere near as bad as Planet Joker.  It's just a shame because this game has so much potential but thanks to lazy Banpresto the graphics are chunky and ugly, transparencies which would have been easy to do are all mesh crap and what sound effects there are, are pretty quiet. I'd actually regret buying this if I wasn't a collector.
