I wonder just how many fishing games there are on the Saturn? I must have pretty much all of them by now. Anyway it's nice to see one that's slightly different even if it is pretty crap. Hiroki Matsytaka is from what I can gather, a well known sea fisherman in Japan. Yep, while all the other fishing games consist of you fishing in a lake or the shore of the sea this game actually takes you right out there where all the BIG fish are.

Graphically this game is ok. The water looks good enough as do the fish but what lets this game down in the looks department is the grain-o-vision Cinepack video that is used. You see while playing the game there's a video in the top center of the screen showing you what you are doing or what you are meant to be doing. This leads me on to why this game is pretty poor. The video on the screen doesn't actually represent what you are doing at all most of the time plus it repeats the same parts which can be very annoying. But the worst is still to come. No matter what you do on the control pad it seems to have no effect or at lease no noticeable effect to what's happening on the screen. Maybe it's just me but I doubt it.

I'd seriously not bother with this even if it is cheap unless you're a collector.
