I have to praise Hudson when it comes to using Cinipac in a competent manner. While Kindaichi Shounen No Jikenbo doesn’t have FMV as clean as Tengai Makyou which has to be seen to be believed, it does look pretty nice. The game is well presented and probably quite nice to play as well if you can understand Japanese but since most readers of Segagaga Domain can't read Japanese I'm going to have to say leave this title on the shelf. Adventure games like this just can't be enjoyed without knowledge of the language. A great shame really because Kindaichi Shounen No Jikenbo isn't that bad at all.
