Retro Core is an amature On-Line retro game show that specializes in the classics from days gone by.  Retro Core aims to bring you what other games shows would never touch such as the classics from the land of the rising sun including many Japanese only titles that you may have missed first time round.  Available for download in stereo Xvid MPEG 4.

12th September 2008 - Retro Core 2 volume 6 finally goes online albeit a few days late however I'm sure you'll think it's worth the wait.  Loads of great games featured including some nice bonus footage.  Just make sure you keep watching until the very end.

I was planning to upload the missing Retro Core Volume 13, the Tokyo Game Show 2005 special that features real time effects footage of Metal Gear 4 as well as other exclusive footage.  However I can't find the original avi files and the ones that were on archive.org were removed or asked to be removed by Sony because of the Metal Gear 4 footage.  I still have the original digital tapes and the DVD version of the special that went out for download in 2005.  I'll try to find time to re-encode the DVD version in to avi for download.  Should be up within the month.

10th August 2008 - The stealth camera work is back as Retro Core films inside the latest arcade to open in Kokura, Kita Kyushu.  This is the 7th major arcade in the city and people say that arcades are dead.  Only in the west I think.  As well as that there's a small look at Retro Core's French cousin, Retrovision.  And don't forget all those great games.

10th July 2008 - It's that time of the month for another volume of Retro Core!  This month Retro Core takes an exclusive look at the brand new Dreamcast puzzle game, Wind & Water Battle Puzzles from Yuan Works.  Head on over to the page right now to see what other goodies are install for you on Volume 4.

30th June 2008 - With Retro Core 2 Vol:4 on the way I thought now would be a good ti9me to fix all the links to the older Retro Core shows.  Now you'll find downlaod links to every episode of the old shows (apart from Vo.13 Tokyo Game Show 2005) on the volume information page.

10th June 2008 - RC2-Volume 3 is here featuring one of the most expensive Sega Saturn games ever made and no, it's not Radiant Silvergun or Shinrei Jusaishi Taroumaru.  As well as that there's loads of other great stuff including a look at the Chinese Dreamcast version of Para Para Paradise called Dream Para Para.  Head on over to t he Volume 3 page now to see what else is featured plus the download link.
