The granddaddy of the Aleste series tat appeared on the Famicom, Super Famicom (SNES), Mega Drive and others.  Aleste for the Master System / Mark III is a wonderful shooter that really makes the machine work.  Great soundtrack as well making good use of the FM sound chip.  The western version of this game is called Power Strike but unfortunately due to the western Master System not having any FM sound capabilities the music sounds weak.
