The game that all Mario lovers and even some non Mario lovers creamed over for so long is now available on the Mega Drive!  And they said it couldn't be done.  Well, truth be told, this is in fact another Chinese original game but unlike the mountains of shit they normally produce we actually have something that resembles the Super Famicom's Super Mario World running on our beloved Mega Drive.

As far as looks go this is very nice stuff.  Good use of animation for the character sprites unlike many other Chinese originals, very nice rendition of the main theme tune and backgrounds that are actually animated where they should be.  It really is a feast for the eyes if Mario is your thing but how does it play?  Hmm, well Mario can spin, jump, fly (with his yellow cape) and run.  So Mario can do pretty much everything he can in the original Super Famicom game however while the controls are pretty good they do suffer from a speed issue.  Now when you watch this game in motion it looks perfect but for some reason it just doesn't feel right.  It's as if Mario will start off by controlling slowly then all of a sudden speed up to a more comfortable speed.  But to look at it in motion all seems normal.  It's really hard to explain however at least the game is still pretty playable unlike a lot of the other crap out there.

If you want to show off to your Super Famicom loving mates then what better way than by showing them the "greatest" game for their beloved system running on a Mega Drive, well sort of (^o^)
