More platform slash’em up action here but not what I’d call quality action. The problem with Mulan is that everything apart from the character Mulan looks like crap. Add poor collision detection, awful music and at times unresponsive controls really puts this one down. If the game was played on a multi-field environment sort of like Golden Axe or Bare Knuckle / Streets of Rage, then it could have been so much better however as it is you’ll soon tire of it very quickly.

One odd thing is that the game gives the story in Chinese, English, Spanish, Portuguese (possibly) and Arabic. Looks like the Chinese want the world to know just how great Mulan really was.
