Ju Ju Densetsu is another one of Sega's conversions of another company's game to the Mega Drive and again they've just an excellent job.  Known as "Toki, Going Ape Spit" in the west, this originally produced by TAD Corporation classic has you playing the role of our hero who's been changed in to a monkey by the wicked wizard that's kidnapped his girl.  It's up to him to get her back.  Heading out on your adventure you notice that you now have the ability to spit lethal balls of err..... something, out of your mouth.   Throughout the platform levels you'll come across all manner of obstacles and enemies that need a good gobbing so let that goo shoot out of your mouth in to their direction.

Ju Ju Densetsu can be quite a tricky game in places due to it's one hit and back to the beginning style of game play.  However the levels aren't that long and can be learnt quite easily so avoiding those enemies that got you the first time round isn't such a hard task and many reviewers of this game make it out to be.  It's also nice to see that there is no re-spawn in this game.  I hate re-spawn with a passion and to be honest, if Ju Ju had it the game would be extremely tedious.

While Ju Ju Densetsu isn't the best looking game out there it's certainly not as bad looking as some people make it out to be plus it has some nice background tunes as well.  A good solid platform shooter worth picking up.
