Title -  Dragon Ball Final Bout    (ドラゴンバール ファイナル バウット)

Maker - Unknown   Catalogue No. - QL-003

Type - Fighting Action

I remember reading somewhere that this Chinese original Dragon Ball game was meant to be far superior to the official Bandai game.  Well, all I can say is "What a load of crap"  You see, this game just like most if not all of the other Chinese Original fighters suffers from slow responding controls.  Also some of the pad direction combinations you have to press are nothing at all like what you'd expect them to be to get the move out.

Graphics are fairly decent but that's probably because most of them are ripped directly out of the Bandai Dragon Ball games.  The audio is also fairly decent but again I wouldn't be surprised if that was ripped from another game as well.

You'll notice from the screen shots below that there's a round meter above each players energy bar.  What this does is control t he power of your special moves.  Once it drains down you have to charge it up again by holding down one of the attack buttons.  Pretty much just like the Art of Fighting series on the Neo Geo.  It's a nice gimmick but over all more of a pain than anything else.

Over all this is far worse than the likes of The King Of Fighters '98 Chinese Mega Drive game but I'm sure Dragon Ball fans will disagree.
