Wonderful little game this is.  The main idea of Crack Down is to place your bombs, avoid the enemy guards in the area and make the best use of your limited ammunition.  Think of Metal Gear's over head sections complete with wall hugging mixed with strategy elements and then you'll have Crack Down.  The game is viewed from an overhead view point with the playing area only taking up about a quarter of the screen.  Player 2s area takes up another quarter with the top half filled with a time counter, map telling you where to place your bombs and other information.

Crack Down's extremely basic controls make it so easy to pick up and get in to that everyone can enjoy this game,  Add another player and you're in for some classic 2 player co-op play.  Fantastic game that every Mega Drive owner sound at least consider checking out
