Type - Battle Simulation

One of the few Mega Drive games that doesn't work on any emulators to date (September 2006) and one of the harder to find releases as well.  You may have seen the introduction via emulation or at least half of it since that's all that will play and wondered what the game is all about.  Well, a game with such a stylish intro as The Hybrid Front is bound to ooze quality, right?  Well...... Maybe if you are in to battle simulations this game will ooze quality but to me it oozes plenty of waiting and wasted time.  The in-game graphics are pretty basic to be honest and quite a disappointment after such a nice introduction.  Character designs are really nice however thanks to the work of Suemi Jun, one of Japan's leading illustrators.

If war simulations are your thing then by all means jump at the chance to buy this game.  If not, then don't bother.
