What’s this? A game based around Ronald McDonald? Surely this can’t be any good? Well, believe it or not this game is actually produced by Treasure!! It may not say so on the box but once you boot up the game you’ll find out that it is. Now I’d be the first to say that this game is destined to be shit but surprisingly it isn’t! ????? is actually quite an entertaining platformer. Some of the stages are actually quite pretty with some nice graphical effects. However, it’s not all good news. The boss battles follow Treasure’s stupid crusade to frustrate gamers. I haven’t looked at the instruction manual and don’t see why I would need too. Games shouldn’t need to be studied to figure out what’s going on. I’ve never read an instruction manual for a game in my life to figure out what to do and that includes RPGs. Anyway, back to the bosses. These take forever to kill because I have no idea what the bloody weak spot is on them. It just seems random when energy is taken from them. At one point I sort of thought I had figured out the pattern of taking away the bosses energy but alas I was wrong. Still, if you bother to read the instructions I’m sure they’ll explain it all.
