How happy I was when I first plugged this in to my Mega Drive. I remember playing the Super Famicom game which wasn’t all that good to be honest. This Mega Drive game by Sega however is actually quite fun. Graphically it’s bright and colourful with some pretty nice looking areas. The character sprites are also big and chunky adding to that cartoon feel. It’s also full of speech which whist sounds like your typical Mega Drive speech it still adds to the charm of the game. Magical Troll isn’t exactly the toughest game out there but it’s certainly challenging enough to keep you coming back for more until you complete it. Well worth picking up if you’re after a fun cutie platformer.
