Yumimi Mix uses Game Arts award winning animation engine for Mega CD. Urusei Yatsura also uses this engine but a more powerful version of it. The game is sort of an interactive comic book. Now don't have the dreaded fear of the US FMV games. This is nothing at all like them sad efforts. Yumimi Mix is 100% Mega CD powered animation with a funny and interesting storyline to go with it. Every now and then you are given a choice to what will happen next. Each choice leads to another path in the game. Every now and then a commentator will tell you a little bit about the background of each character. While this is happening the characters sometimes respond with something like "Don't tell them that about me" or just plain "Shut up!" There is also a Sega Saturn version of Yumimi Mix called Yumimi ReMix. The game basically looks like the Mega CD version from what I can remember but with a few more colours and better sound quality. As to whether the game is different or not I'm not sure since I haven't play either enough to find out. You can see the Sega Saturn version by heading on over to the Sega Saturn games page.
