The BEST Sonic game in my opinion out of all Mega Drive versions.  Sonic CD is so BIG and with three versions of every level (Past, Present and Future), massive sized playing fields and 3D style bonus rounds where Sonic must run around a futuristic race course jumping in to UFOs to find the crystal, you'll be kept occupied for a very long time.  I love the music in the Japanese and European version but as always the Americans think it's a good idea to change things and like practically everything else that gets changed, it's for the worst.  What ever you do, don't buy the US version of this game.  It has bloody awful music that doesn't even fit the game and of course the obligatory bad looking box design.  If you can't get the Japanese version then get the European one as it has similar box art and the same music as the Japanese release.
