This was one of the 1st launch titles for the Mega CD in Japan which enabled it to sell reasonably well.  Just as well it was a launch title because other wise it wouldn't have sold at all (It was a pack in game with the Mega CD in Europe)  It's not a terrible game but it lacks any flair at all.  The game is also available on Cartridge in the US under the title Sol Deace and it's 100% identical to the Mega CD version apart from the opening and ending, just like Wolf Team's Earnest Evanas.  There is one reason to buy Sol Feace though and that's for it's sound track !!  It's amazing !!
