I never did find any of the Sim games much fun apart from Sim City on the Super Famicom / SNES, so I wasn't really looking forward to trying out Sim earth until I noticed that Game Arts handled the conversion along with Maxis.  My hopes of something special didn't last long though.  For a start, graphically this is awful in every respect.  The attention to detail is very basic without much thought gone in to it if you ask me.  The game interface is easy enough to work out what to do which is a plus point but as the game looks so awful I find it hard to find any inspiration to make a thriving planet.

If you're a big fan of this type of game and don't mind the poor visuals, you'll probably get a kick out of Mega CD Sim Earth but for anyone else you'd be better passing on this one.
