I remember being mighty impressed with this title back in 1993 but now I can honestly say that the animation is pretty poor when compared to the likes of Urusei Yatsura.  Not only that but the voice samples are very bad giving you a crackly muffled sound and not to mention too low in volume.  I never really noticed this back in 1993 but I sure do now.  Still, it's Ranma and that's good enough to keep some people amused.  The actual story is funny enough to keep you playing even if that "playing" does only consist of you choosing who to talk to, look at and touch.  Unfortunately the battles in Ranma take forever with some lasting 10 minutes easily.  It's basically set like a game of Janken (rock, scissors, paper) so you never really know what the computer opponent is going to do which makes it quite tedious at times.

Probably fans of the anime will enjoy this but otherwise I'd stay clear.
