Illusion city starts off with a pretty good introduction.  It maybe lacking in animation but the style of it is what makes it appealing.  true cyber punk anime style in an Appleseed / Bubblegum Crisis kind of way.  The actual game is a RPG in more of the old Japanese PC style than console style.  From what I've gathered so far, you take the role of a detective that seems to suffer from some sort of trauma caused by a past experience.  The game isn't very pretty to look at to be honest and scrolls like crap.  Still, these type of games you buy for the plot, right?  Well unless you can understand Japanese you won't be getting much fun out of Illusion City.  It's just a shame that games like this never get an English translation.
