One of the best if not the best shooter for the Mega CD.  Dennin Aleste better known as Robo Aleste in the west may not look amazing or be filled with tones of special effects but what it does offer is good solid shooting action !  Even on the easy level setting Dennin Aleste offers quite a challenge.  I must point out though that the laser weapon like in all of the Compile Aleste games is probably the best weapon in the game.  With this you'll find yourself getting though the boss sections much easier.  Also like all the other Aleste games at least two of the weapons are completely useless.  It's seems to be a Compile trade mark (^o^).  A special mention must go to the music.  Since it's being streamed from CD you'd expect it to sound good but Dennin Aleste sounds very good.  Some great early nineties techno tracks as well as an alarmingly similar James Bond theme techno style track.

Simply put Dennin Aleste belongs in that elite "Must Have" category if you own a Mega CD along with Sonic CD, Keio Yugentai, Snatcher, Garoundensetsu 2, Urusei Yatsura and a few others.
