There are some game companies that instantly shout "CRAP GAME" when you see their name on the cover.  Micronet is one of them.  As far as I know they've never made anything above average.  Battle Fantasy falls in to the below average category just like so many of Micronet's other games.

What we have is a very poor 1 on 1 fighter which must be based upon the same game engine used in Black Hole Assault.  This time however the characters are fantasy based RPG style fighters.  Everything looks good at first with the lovely introductions scenes and many aspects of your fighter than can be customed.  Then the main battle starts and all that look promising is flushed down the toilet.  Just like Black Hole Assault, the animation is incredibly stiff and controls unresponsive making Battle Fantasy more of a chore than fun to play.  Add the overall poor quality of graphics and sleepy soundtrack really does hammer the nail in to the the coffin.

Like many games this had promises but turns out to be a steaming pile of poop.  At least the cover art and disc look nice.
